Regarding Certain Reports on Our Subsidiary Today

Today, there have been certain media reports about the listing of stock of our subsidiary, JX Advanced Metals Corporation (President: Hayashi Yoichi; "JXAM"), on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. However, these reports are not based on any announcement by ENEOS Holdings, Inc. (President: Miyata Tomohide; "ENEOS Holdings"), and neither ENEOS Holdings nor JXAM has made a decision regarding any such matters at this time.

ENEOS Holdings is further allocating management resources of ENEOS Group to growth businesses to promote the sustainable increase in corporate value of both companies, and pursuing the optimization of JXAM management and further enhancement of corporate value. In order to further these efforts, ENEOS Holdings has applied for the listing of stock of JXAM.

If any matters that need to be disclosed arise in the future, we will promptly announce them.
