The ENEOS Group will lead the energy transition in Japan, aiming to achieve both a stable supply of energy and materials and the realization of a carbon-neutral society as stated in the Long-Term Vision.
At this stage, there is no definite answer as to what the main sources of energy will be in a carbon-neutral society. There are several possible scenarios.
he ENEOS Group is conducting investments, research and development, and verification trials so that it will be able to respond to any of these scenarios.
We will ensure a high level of resilience to deal with future uncertainties.

Synthetic Fuels
We are making efforts to establish manufacturing technology for synthetic fuels (e-fuel) at an early stage and implement them in society.
Hydrogen
We are aiming to construct a hydrogen supply chain in anticipation of a future society that uses a large volume of hydrogen.
Biofuels
We aim to establish technology for bioethanol manufacturing that does not compete with food and early commercialization.
Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF)
We will carry out supply chain construction at an early stage with the goal of the largest supply system in Japan.
Renewable Energy
We are making efforts to establish ourselves as a major player in development and operation of renewable energy sources.
CCS/CCUS (Capture, Storage, and Utilization of CO₂)
We are fortifying and constructing value chains to prepare for future expansion of CCS/CCUS.
Materials
We aim to expand business through the provision of high-performance materials that support various industries including the next-generation mobility industry.
Digitalization at refineries
We will bring about safe and stable operations, maximize profits, and streamline work in aims of establishing competitive refineries.
Energy Management System (VPP)
We will strive to fortify earning power of the electricity business through energy management.
